I have been fortunate to have been practicing MASSAGE THERAPY for almost 21 years, about 15 years ago, I added Reflexology
to my practice, and have been getting positive results since I began.
If you've never had a Reflexology session, you are really missing a treat. Along with the relaxing and calming affect of having your feet get the attention they so deserve, your whole body benefits from the movement and techniques the therapist uses to follow your "foot map" to address your whole body through the reflex points on your feet. People are amazed how, for instance, working the area around the base of their big toe, can cause them to feel warmth, and sometimes other reactions in their neck. Although Reflexology can be done on other parts of the body, it seems the feet and hands are the most commonly requested to be worked on.
I recently have studied Ear Reflexology, and am having great success with clients both for general well being and hitting those tender corresponding points.
With study and practice, Reflexology, like Massage, becomes a precious and intuitive art form and discipline to help people with acute injuries, chronic pain, and emotional and physical long term discomforts.
